AURORA

AURORA was designed by award-winning naval architect Rene van der Velden, and built by ‘Moonen’ which is one of Northern Europe’s pedigree luxury superyacht shipyards based in the Netherlands. She was delivered in 2004 and underwent an extensive refit in 2021. She was equipped with new furniture, new timber floorboards indoors and teak deck outdoors, new mattresses and bed linen, conversion to a convertible twin/double cabin, new bar on the aft deck, and day bed on flybridge, extended shade areas with bimini / canopy on flybridge and main aft deck… and more!

This 85 ft. luxury yacht hosts 8 guests across 4 beautiful cabins located on the lower deck: a full beam master cabin, a VIP cabin, a convertible twin/double cabin and a twin cabin. These last two cabins have a shared ensuite. 

Warm wooden panelling and furnishings in high gloss cherry wood make tranquil surroundings for a comfortable night’s rest. On the main deck, the salon has broad windows and aft sliding doors for plenty of illumination. In extend with the salon, a large table with sofa can be used for informal alfresco dining. A staircase connects the main deck aft with the swim platform and provides easy access to the tenders and water toys. The swim platform is the perfect place for a magical, romantic diner by night.

Plenty of sun lounging sofas offer the ultimate relaxing afternoon on board, a generous sunbed with the perfect vantage point on the bow and an additional sunbed on the flybridge – even boasting a projector and screen for movie nights! The expansive flybridge is furthermore fitted with a bar, fridge and a gourmet grill.

With her steel hull construction, AURORA is a robust and stable yacht with a shallow draft allowing easy access to inlets, beaches and reefs.
